Starting a cool wood project for the holidays?

I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned this before but I love doing woodworking, especially during the holidays when I have more time on my hands. I’ve build a lot of furniture and other pieces for us around the house like coffee tables, chairs, head boards and much more. Recently I’ve started a few cool wood projects. Let me show you some pictures below.

Granted this woodworking project might not be as useful to our family as the previous ones but given the fact that I have more time on my hands and a lot of scrap wood and extra parts lying around I thought I would give it a shot. If you’ve ever build something with your hands you’ll know that feeling of accomplishment you get when you’ve finished a woodworking project and know that you’ve done a great job.

What’s great as well is that you can get other family members to help you with your projects. This can be a great way for dads to bond with their kids. Who knows maybe you and your son can come up with your own cool woodworking projects and post a few pictures online. For those of our readers that are into woodworking be sure to comment below and we can share some ideas, heck we can even share a few woodworking plans.

Before I end this post I found a great woodworking video that you might like. It’s full of cool woodworking ideas. This iPhone wood amplifier is a very simple concept and design but very cool to build and useful.
