Infrared Sauna Dome Provides Deep Penetration, Greater Exposure

The infrared sauna dome is a portable infrared sauna that gives you a more invigorating sweating experience. Your entire body is exposed to the gentle warmth radiating from the heating elements built into the interior of the dome. Not only is the sauna dome portable and more effective than a walk-in infrared sauna, but also quite affordable.

A typical far infrared sauna dome is constructed of two fiberglass chambers that form the dome. The heating elements are built inside the walls of the dome and the control panel is located in the front section for easy access. The user lies down inside the unit while keeping the head outside in the cool.

Benefits of the Sauna Dome

Far infrared saunas operate at a comfortable 110° to 130° F, which is much cooler than the temperature in a conventional Finnish sauna. The lower temperature is safer for people with cardiovascular risk factors and the elderly.

Lying down inside the dome is naturally more relaxing than sitting upright on a bench. After all, we all sleep while lying down; it relieves the body of the extra stress required to remain in an erect position. Another benefit is the small size of the sauna dome; it brings the infrared heat source closer to your body, resulting in deeper penetration, increased circulation, improved oxygenation and detoxification.

How to Take a Sauna in the Dome

Taking a sauna in the sauna dome is not unlike taking a conventional sauna. Never take a sauna on a full stomach and drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration. Make sure you use towels inside the dome to absorb the sweat. Start off with a short session and increase the length of time you spend in the infrared sauna gradually. 45 minutes is probably long enough once your body gets conditioned to the heat.

Always consult with your physician before you begin any health regimen, especially if you are sensitive to heat. Women with breast implants and pregnant women should not use the infrared sauna dome
